The difference at GoWesty is that they have all CHOSEN to do so. GoWesty has parts for 1968-2003 Volkswagen Buses, Vanagons, and Eurovans. They also restore and sell Eurovan & Vanagon Full Campers ans Weekenders.

I found out about company in a blog called A Girl And Her Van. This was in one of the regular GoWesty e-mails. It turns out there is a company in Seattle dedicated to keeping the beloved Eurovan, Vanagon and VW Bus on the road. They do regular maintenance, restoration and upgrades. It’s nice to know that there is a company like this in the Pacific Northwest!

In the course of working on Westy I sometimes have a need to replace parts. That’s not always easy for a 2003 vehicle that’s no longer imported. Nonetheless, there are parts resources out there, and one I frequently visit is Jim Ellis Volkswagen Parts. This site is done by a VW dealer in Atlanta who has a separate website just for parts. It’s come in handy on a couple of occasions so far!
